Why The Gamblerian?

Games that mix luck and skill have fascinated us for years. The Gamblerian is our home for clear explanations of how gambling products actually work: slots, live casino, sports, lottery, fishing games, horse racing and esports. We are a blog, not a casino, and we never accept bets.

Founder & Chief Editor

Digital marketer and writer with a passion for gaming, and the founder and chief editor of The Gamblerian. She may seem reserved at first, a proper tsundere, but she warms up quickly if you offer coffee, tea, juice or cake. Her curiosity about games that combine luck and skill began about five years ago, and it is what sparked this site. Juliana sets our editorial direction, keeps our guides clear and honest, and writes mainly on the lifestyle side of gambling: how people play, how to keep it fun and how to stay in control.

Editor & Designer

Our resident editor and designer. Lucia loves RPGs and visually striking games with great artwork (Don't Starve and Stardew Valley are favourites), and that eye for design shapes how every guide on the site looks and reads. She enjoys social dancing (salsa and bachata), and follows sports, esports and horse racing closely, which is why she leads our coverage of those categories. Lucia writes our sports and esports pieces and our game breakdowns, and reviews the brands in our Hall of Fame, bringing a careful, no-hype approach to how we explain odds and markets.
